Our current topic is about celebrations and festivals. This week we are inquiring about weddings. Students have to read a shared book embedded on their class site and retell the story in their own words in their draft writing books. This a great way to practise rewindable learning.
Students are busy practising for the End of Year school concert. The song title is “Dynamite” By BTS.A video clip is on our class site. Students enjoy listening to the song and practise basic moves using their headphones from their class site.
Students are practising for their Athletics Day event. Everyone enjoyed learning how to sprint and do high jump.
Room 11 had a great session making structures using legos.

Room 11 began term 4 with the celebration of Hindi Language Week. Children participated in an opening ceremony of Indian culture and language by lighting a lamp. Children dressed in cultural clothes. Watched a live streaming on the history, language and culture of India. Everyone celebrated with food, bollywood dancing and Indian sweets. It was amazing event.
For Book Week Room 11 decided to be birds in the forest. For their parade they made the chirpy sounds of birds as they paraded with their chosen birds.
Today students learnt how to publish their work on their blogs. They enjoyed reading each others work.

Room 11 has been doing amazing work on identifying shapes. They have learnt how to identify triangles by their attributes of sides, and angles.
